Pick-Up Artists are Getting Hurt
(PRWEB) June 2, 2009 -- The art of picking up women is hurting men all over the world to attract and date beautiful women. Not only is it hurting their pick-up skills but is also hurting the confidence and self esteem of students of pick-up.
The art of picking up women has become a phenomenon with shows like "The Pick-Up Artist" on Vh1. More and more men are following the trend to learn from the so-called "pick-up gurus" all over the world.
Little do the students of pick-up know that their effort to become good with women is ultimately going to hurt their success with women.
According to dating coach Magic, who runs Social Skills Institute (http://www.socialskillsinstitute.com) in LA, most pick-up schools out their teach men how to manipulate women using tricks and stories to sleep with them. This results in lower self-esteem among the students of pick-up.
By using tricks and techniques to seduce women, students are sub communicating to themselves that they are not good enough to win women on their own.
According to Magic, it should be the opposite. He thinks that dating coaches should teach how to attract women (http://www.socialskillsinstitute.com/how-to-attract-women.html) and win them with confidence and without the tricks. He believes that the ultimate job of a dating coach should be to help a student date beautiful women by making him believe in himself.
He reports that lately he has been working with an increasing number of students who are victim to "the game" as they call it in the pick-up community. These are men who have been practicing the art of pick-up for over a year with little to no success. Recently one of the students tried to kill himself because he could not get any woman to like him, despite practicing "the game" for over two years.
"The first thing I tell my students is to 'stop being the gamey guy," says Magic.
He claims that because of his method to transform students into strong, confident and socially savvy men, most of his students end up dating women (http://www.socialskillsinstitute.com) they desire within the first week of training, if not during the training session.
Independent forums like Casanova Crew and the attraction forums are full of success stories of his students.
Magic's coaching formula is based on the philosophy that women desire the same thing as men. All men have to do is present themselves in a manner that makes a woman feel comfortable and safe stepping into a relationship with them.
On his website, he mentions that no threesome or one night stand would happen if women did not desire the same. He backs up his arguments with numerous studies and researches conducted all over the world.
Magic has injected a fresh wave of helping men attract women staying within ethical and moral boundaries. He states, "I will never teach anything I would not want to happen to my mother, sister or daughter."
Hopefully, we will once again witness a group of men approaching women with healthy and morally high standards which is mutually beneficial and respectful to both sexes.
